[Xerte] Upgrade has caused an issue with inserting templates into new project

We have recently upgraded from a fairly old version of xerte to the latest version. All seemed fine after a couple of authentication based tweaks, however when we try and insert a template into a project the insert button is greyed out and won't let us create any LO's. Has anybody else had this and if so what was the fix?
