Thanks for the response Tom, yes access is set to 'public', what changes need to be made to the config file to enable guests to see the LO, do you know?

Look in the auth_config.php file (in the root of the xerte installation). That is where the message is coming from.

By the way, is the Access level set to 'Public' or something else?

Is anyone else having the same problem? I have set up a Moodle page and allowed guest access so that colleagues from other organisation can tap into a course. We are running Moodle 1.9 incidentally. I have a hyperlink to an old xerte 1.8 LO that I designed before upgrading to xerte 2.0, now when I visit as a guest I get the following message "Sorry you do not currently have permission to author with Xerte." This is from the Moodle page. When I log into Moodle with u/name & password I can access the LO. Why is this happening? I have visited the properties tab of the LO and copied the shortcut to the Moodle page again but this makes no difference. The toggle is set to Flash in the LO.

Can anyone help?
