Thanks Julian. I think this will sort out our problem nicely. We have already installed a clean version and we have a small number of LOS. Will try and hook the install up to the existing database.

Go over the top unless you've got a very small number of LOs.
Actually what we did here was to install into a clean folder, then hook the clean install up to the existing database, run upgrade.php and then switch the newly installed system into the old folder, making sure you don't overwrite important things like USER-FILES: that gave us a clean install and kept the existing content

Bril! Thanks very much Julian it is indeed working :o) We now need to decide whether to live with losing all the access and sharing for the projects or reinstall it over the old version.

Untick it and tick it again, it seems to take an additional click to stick with imports or gifts.

Thanks Pat. We did manage to import in the end but as you say we've lost all the access and sharing for the projects. Further more we don't seem to be able to get the look and feel of the HTML5 template evn though HTML5 box is ticked :o(

I would duplicate the user files folder and then the MySQL database
Much quicker than importing as if you import you'll lose all the access and sharing settings for the projects

However, it says 'You can only import Zip Files'. We are trying to import zip files. Are the old LOs not compatible with the new version or are we missing something in the process?
