What version of xot are you using?

Give us an example of what you are trying to display?

Hmm.

In Xerte desktop if I put

1 < 2

it appears correctly.

Where exactly are you entering the text?

Yes, it is, but it recognizes it as a function tag and the rest of the text
disappears.

If I put: 1 < 2
It appears: 1
It misses all the text after the symbol.

I've never used the slideshow page (I've only used Desktop Xerte). What
happens if you just try <?

Another thing that might work is to create a variable in a script icon, then
embedding that variable in the text icon:

script icon:
lessThan = "<";

text icon:
{"if (1 " + lessThan + " 2) echo 'The universe is in order'; "}

Using curly braces in a text icon makes it an expression.

Hi,

I'm describing an equation and I'm having some trouble when trying use the
symbol < as an text, not a tag.
I already used the ASCII code but still not working.
Does anyone have a clue?

Thanks!
