Hi
Just thought i'd mention while MathJax is the subject that currently in xenith if you don't have internet access than the 2x MathJax calls terminate the LO rendering leaving a white screen.
I've tested them wrapped in a try/catch block which works (object detection doesn't for some reason) and will commit when Github is refreshed.
Should only be a problem if running with no internet access so could affect Maxos users or those deploying to media for offline use.
Just so you all know....

No. MathJax would have just run on fine. The problem in this case was a mistake in the configuration of another virtual host on the same server that had side-effects on the latex to image converter.

Yes seems fine now Tom. Surprised it hasn't been mentioned more times but I guess it's down to only a relatively small number of LO's containing latex. Would mathjax have been broken in the same way too?
Cheers

Hi Tom
I've just had this same issue about latex prompting for login reported by a user of a server I look after. Is it something you fixed already? Has it occurred again or does it require more recent xerte code?
Cheers
Ron

Oops, my mistake. I'll fix it a.s.a.p.
Thank you for bringing this up.

Every time I preview a learning objective that has LaTex script on it I come up against Windows Security with the following message:
The server xerte.tor.nl at Global Women Leadership requires a username and password.
Warning: This server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without a secure connection)
If I press cancel it lets me continue but it does not show the latex script.
I am nothing to do with Global Women Leadership and I am not sure if this is a virus or a bug of some kind.
Many thanks
Emily
