In the meantime you can go a good way to getting the "in your face" accessibility options for learners who don't know how to change colours and fonts in the browser by

* using Google Chrome to view the learning objects and

* installing the HighContrast Chrome plugin.

*         Installing the ChromeSpeak plug-in.
With these in place the learner can change colour schemes by clicking theHighContrast button and selecting their preference.
They can also select text, right click it and choose to speak selected text to listen to the text. If you are a post 16 learning provider in England and have the free high quality TechDis voices installed on your system this can add significant functionality for print impaired people. In Scotland the free Scottish voices are also available.

I'd still advise you stick with the HHTML5 output. We may add that functionality at some point. We chose not to build it in, because it was felt that the browser offers the accessibility functionality, and that the LOs are more accessible in HTML5 than they are in the old flash format. Those controls were built in to address issues with Flash accessibility, which don't exist in the HTML5 interface, as many of them can be controlled through the browser.

because the learning object created by html5 (javascript) doesn't offer us the facility to change color, font size, etc.

Not without changing code.

Hi all, how can we set the configuration of a Xerte installation to set the default engine for projects to Flash.
