That a comprehensive answer to my inquiry. To know that its possible to create user accounts to access to LO, can you please explain how? As from the management page, users section is just for view, I could not find "add new user" there...even through DB, the login details table is not having a password field there. I did inserted one record there but don't know how to make it work since no password!

Xerte itself doesn't track attendance
The users are meant to be LO specialists who AUTHOR the LO's. You can
setup Xerte in such a way that you have to login to play a LO, but that
was to my knowledge never intended for tracking puposes.
In the soon to be released version 2 there will be enhanced SCORM
tracking, but in order to use that, you export the LO as a SCORM package
and import it into a LMS that supports SCORM packages (like Moodle)
