These guides might help - they are all for 1.7 but not too much has changed
in the general steps. As Pat says if your purpose is to share an LO with a
colleague who has an account on the same installation you should be able to
share or give a copy of your LO without exporting and importing.

Sounds like you have a project selected rather than workspace e.g. if you
are seeing export it suggests you have an LO selected

Perhaps refresh, select the workspace icon and then properties - you should
see 4 tabs one of which is import

Hi - should it be possible to import back into XOT an exported Scorm zip
file? In my hosted installation of XOT, when I click on my workspace and go
to 'Properties' I can see an export option but no import option -
