There is no specific error. The page wizard imports media and close importing window without any warning.

After that if you try to preview media you get the message: You must select media before you can preview it.

There is no imported file in Project PropertiesàMedia and quota and in Preview page also.

Pat already suggested me to lokk php.ini and I changed values. 

Now I can import larger files.

The maximum file size depends is determined by your php settings.
in php.ini you can change the settings:

post_max_size
upload_max_filesize
