Hi, we do have a summary in draft format for most of those other templates but there are some important accessibility improvements in the Xerte Toolkits 1.8 release and so I'm holding off publishing the accessibility summary. Several accessibility issues that were identified on a number of pages (eg magnification of text in navigator subpages breaking the learning object and inheritance of colour changes to subpages) should be remedied in the next release so the final guidance will come when I've had a chance to see the final release after the agreed improvements have been implemented. It should be much shorter guidance too because there will be fewer accessibility niggles.

Subject: [Xerte] Accessiblity queries
Hello
We are using Xerte to develop some skills materials at the Open University Library. I am currently investigating the accessibility of the different Xerte templates. I found a useful summary of the Text and Media templates here: http://www.jisctechdis.ac.uk/techdis/pages/detail/online_resources/Xerte_learner_needs
I was wondering if there are similar summaries for the other template types?
I've also been looking at keyboard accessibility. Many of the templates do seem to be accessible using just the keyboard, but I was just wondering why the key used to activate links etc is often the space bar instead of the return key. I thought that the return key was standard - is there a way to change this within Xerte so that the return key is used instead of the space bar?
If you know of any other information which might be helpful in terms of accessibility checking of Xerte please let me know.
Best regards
