Hi All,

I am a Computer Science student at Heriot-Watt University. For my 4th year honors project I have been investigating how to extend the Xerte Mobile App to create new Learning materials and view these.

If anyone is interested in having a look at a fairly simple system which allows the creation of text pages / text and graphic / text and video, and also the viewing of these pages either individually or by slideshow. I would be grateful for any feedback (even just what you think of the screen shots) via this thread or personally by email at david2009wood at gmail.com<mailto:david2009wood at gmail.com>

Android is capable of much much more, sadly I had time constraints which stopped my diving in deeper, I intend to explore it's uses for interactive quizzes, games / animations etc and text editors perhaps in the future.

The best place to start would be creating a new Learning Object and adding a space, inside the space is where one makes pages and go from there!.

Note this is developed from an older version of Xerte Mobile so does look slightly different from the newest available version.

In your app browser the app will be named 'Main' and have a default android icon.

I will attach the .apk to this email.
