AW wouldn't have made it onto i-anything either. It had weird memory handling as well. 100% cpu usage etc.
Yes, Xerte is actually way more powerful when it comes down to it.

Which would mean they killed Authorware for no good reason, since getting Flash was why Adobe purchased Macromedia. But I like Xerte better, anyway. Subject: [Xerte] Re: Xerte online toolkits and H5> IOW, not much point in starting a project in Xerte 3. The question is really whether there is any point in building a Flex project, whatever tools you use. If you want to build mobile apps, there is a very big point, I think Flex is the best cross-platform development SDK out there for iOS and Android development, likewise if you only need to deliver to desktop PCs, the Flex framework is very cool. But if you want to deliver to every browser on every device, the Flash Player is not going to do it, and that’s the problem. IOW, not much point in starting a project in Xerte 3.The traction is elsewhere. >>H5 player will deal with XOT, correct?>CorrectAgain, Xerte 3 will not play nice with the translator libraries then. >>XOT is not using Flex framework, right?>Right.Ditto above.
