The attached file deals with the absence of a label for the volume control. If I understand correctly all the other controls are spoken OK?
The issue outstanding is JAWS not reading it the first time round? I'm unsure about that one.

Hi Julian
Thanks for the suggestion - our web developer has copied the file you sent into our Xerte installation and it does seem to have made a significant improvement when using Jaws. The following pages now have meaningful text that Jaws can read: next, previous, contents, text to speech, continue. This seems to work most of the time, although sometimes the labels only appear the second time you list the buttons in Jaws. The volume control and slider are not given meaningful labels. Also the buttons used within the learning objects do now have a meaningful label (e.g. feedback, zoom, etc). Do you think there might be way that we could get Jaws to read labels associated with these?
