You need to call the page with a querystring parameter.
www.myserver.com/myxertebit_index.htm?page=3
In the xerte swf embedding page javascript somewhere, you need to have a function that will strip that page number out of the querystring and pass it back to the xerte swf.
Then use that to navigate within the piece.
It won't be very smooth because the piece will have to get up and running, retrieve that number, then jump to the target page.

I understand that it is possible to page link internally using: <a href="asfunction:_level0.pageLink,1">Link</a> But I would like to link to a specific Xerte page from an external webpage – is there something I can put in my HTML that will let me do this?
