I'll try to get xertretrans up to speed a.s.a.p. but its holliday season here, and the children want me to shut down the PC, so, it'll have to wait for bad weather... ;-)

Here is a Norwegian language file for you.
I've had a sneak peak at the new version of XOT, and I can see that it's possible to translate the interface by editing constants in a large number of inc.-files. Is this how you are planning for the translation to work, or do you have plans to add some easier to use translation tools?

Just updated engine_en-GB, en-US, fr-FR, nl-NL in both repositories. It needs translating into French and Dutch though.

Fay,
yes you can add that, no problem.
Johnathan, others,
It should be en-GB and as far as I know it is en-GB in the repositories, but Windows does not always follow that rule. Windows doesn't care one way or another. But for XOT on Linux it IS important, because Linux filenames are case-sensitive. So please stick to en-GB.

Sorry, I have not been involved in this bit of the development so can't shed much light on it.
The changes I have recently made to the runtime / pages folder should not affect engine_en-GB.xml as this resides in the runtime/languages folder.
I have noticed use of both en-GB e.g. in file names and en-gb e.g. in the name of the wizards folder. Is there any guide or standard as to when we are using capitals for the GB bit and when we are using lower case?
Kind regards
Johnathan

I've just uploaded to the svn a new version of the MediaViewer.swf used if you add the optional Media File / Media Transcript to a LO. This fixes a problem Johnathan found about it not always getting the size of video files correctly.
Some time ago I added in a new line to the language files (engine_en-GB.xml etc.) as if you add a Media File to the LO a new button appears on the toolbar which launches a new window to show the media in. This line has now disappeared again in all but the es-ES file so the label on the button just shows as undefined. I haven't had any involvement in the language stuff so am I ok to just add the line back into these files and upload? I don't want to mess anything up or run the risk of it being overridden again.
All that needs to go in is <mediaButton label="Media" description="Media Button. "/>
Thanks
Fay
