I'd suggest doing it the way Moodle does...

Add a register this site button to toolkits which is automatically
removed/hidden once registered - perhaps on the management page

The email used to register the site is the one sent details of updates
including security fixes etc before that info is made public or available
anywhere else

I guess you could set up a separate mailing list to which those registered
site emails get added to make it easy to send to all

The big bonus - you get to know about all the registered installs!

I'm sue you know all this and have access to a moodle but in case not an
anonymised screenshot of the moodle register form pasted below.

Are you planning to have automatic updates for XOT at some point in future?
I've got Linux installed on my home computer and having regular

I've just checked the file we have used (youtube.rlm) and, no it doesn't
look like this. It is an error on my behalf! I've used the youtube.rlm file
you sent us before Christmas. You mush have updated it since then. I should
have checked it on the svn for an update :o(

I'll use the new one and I think this is going to solve our problem :o)

Well, we have replaced all three files: youtube.swf (from Ron), youtube.rlm
(from Julian) and I've grabbed youtuberss.rlm with the fix from the source
(r430). At least now it works, however, it first displays the video fine
when the page loads, then sprawls off the page, and then snaps back to
normal display size. It all happens in 1-2 seconds :o(

Also, I can't see any  extra options for video size, auto-start etc. on the
YouTube page either. Any ideas?
