the Quiz page supports Scorm tracking - which isn't a pop up
certificate, but could tell your VLE what the student scored (if you
turn on scorm - there are a few extra considerations).

To see how often a XOT learning object has been used

Highlight the "Workspace" folder
Click on properties
Click on "usage stats" - or something like it (it's been a while).

And some "play" stats should appear.
