Someone came up with the suggestion of a Learner Management System. I haven't come across those before and a Google search suggests they may be mainly about tracking what people are doing and assessing them - which is not what I'm after. Our idea is a purely voluntary program for people who want to learn. Has anyone come across these LMS things or do you use them?

Nothing to code - you can make that pdf ahead of time...

Ron Mitchell had a version of the model answer template that collected together all the responses (including model answers as well as student answer) and put them on the clipboard for printing out - or maybe it put them all in a summary page... can't remember details now.
I liked that facility.
In fact what would be brilliant is to have the option to work through LO then click a button that would provide a pdf of all the final screens including the last view of learner interactions - inevitably there would be compromises (like which tab on a navigator page would it show?) but it would be a great revision aid... a kind of 'grab this screen' option button on each page. Probably easier to imagine than to code though!

Just an idea, but one way to have the learner record more permanent stuff for reflection etc, is to have them print out a doc, sit with a pencil and go through the material. Have the doc prompt for ‘write your thoughts on the video here’.. etc, and add other workbook type activities that accompany the learning resources.

Can an end-user of a Xerte e-learning project save the work they have been doing and come back to it? How would I set that up?
