Pat has already asked if you're using the moodle patch but I don't think
you've yet responded?

If you are there are a few solutions...

1. Add some code to the moodle patch php page to pick up if the user name is
guest and exit the login and perhaps display a message at that point.

2. If you want to restrict by role you'll need to check for that instead

3. Alternatively add a custom profile field e.g. xot user and check for that

Subject: [Xerte] permissions

I wonder if you could help me with a Xerte permissions problem?

We currently have a Moodle 1.9 which is hosted by an external provider, we
have recently added Xerte, however we allow guest users on our site and it
also allows guests to create Xerte content, is there a way of only giving
permission to use Xerte to administrators and teachers?

Many Thanks

Jan
