I took that setInterval back out, because i) it didn't appear to solve the problem, and ii) it makes the loading movie flicker on the stage.

Hmm, that is somewhat aggravating.


In FF, cleared cache, loaded, saw page 1 anim for first time in any browser.
page 2 nothing, back to page 1 nothing, clear cache reload nothing.
