leave it with me. I look after the JISC Techdis Sandpit installation and
haven't added any updates lately that would cause this - which suggests
it hasn't been caused by new Toolkits code.

 

I'm just doing something else and will then email David on your behalf
and mine.

Hi all - so, regarding the FLV file issue and Pale Purple hosting
service, would it be possible for someone to reconfirm what I should say
to Pale Purple? - several of you have given me your great insights but
wonder if there is a summary statement someone could offer me on the
situation which I could then copy/paste into an email to Pale Purple.

I think it's more likely to be a change on the Pale Purple servers.

The JISC Techdis sandpit is on Pale Purple too and I just tried a couple
of
flv uploads and neither of those worked either whereas they have many
times
before.

reading the thread, we need to see if flvs are no longer uploading. That
chimes with the discussion so far.

I don't think the file is being uploaded.
What mechanism is being used to upload media.
e.g. in what circumstance would the mechanism say "invalid file type"?
Has the server lost the .flv MIME's or something?
