I did a number of additional comparisons and discovered the culprit: the 
SWF files you sent me differed from the ones I had. After overwriting he 
files with the ones you provided, all worked well ;-)

Thanks, Dave. I will sent this to the list too, so other folks know we
battled this one and won.
