As Julian suggest make the image/canvas size 800 x 514 put your smaller
image wherever you want inside that and save as .png which will leave the
background transparent as long as it is in the application you are using.

 

Nathan - you already have a copy of the attached ppt and you can use that
for this purpose.

1. delete the instructions on the slide or add a new blank slide

2. Insert, resize and position your image as required

3. File > Save As > Other Formats > Portable Networks Graphics Format (*png)

4. Choose every slide or current slide only as appropriate

Not sure. You might need to make a 800 x 514 image and place you image in it
somewhere.

Hi All

 

I'm trying to add a background image to the title page in Xerte toolkits.
Is there an obvious way to prevent it from stretching to fill the slide and
just display at actual size?
