Hi Pat
I'm struggling to find the solution here but a few comments/thoughts...
1. What this does seem to verify is that there's nothing wrong with the LDAP
settings as it logs in fine using OLDlogin_library.php apart from the first
name and last name issue. Also just to clarify that file is in the latest
zip download as well as the repository
2. Yes the part working login library just returns true whereas the latest
version returns return $result_array;
3. get_user_details also seems completely different between the two versions
4. I don't really want to be using older files but I can't work out what
else to check/change in the latest files given that it doesn't seem to be an
ldap connection problem.
5. Is anyone else successfully using the latest 1.6 version of XOT with
LDAP?
Cheers
Ron

Errr I think I upgraded the flux capicitors and set the tardis to organic.
diff the files?
The first and last name come from another function called get user
details which does the same thing with the LDAP as the login.
Maybe that was the difference - does your old valid login just return
true / false?
I think new login returns an array?
