www.techdisplayxerte.info is the sandpit area - works best in FireFox
(nothing to do with Xerte per se but there's an annoying intermitent bug
on the server that makes IE a little less predictable - it only happens
on this installation!
Guidelines on getting started at www.jisctechdis.ac.uk/xerte
Also our XerteFriday training sessions are linked from the last url.

At this stage I will just be doing demo sessions. I think a server
setup would be further down the line so am currently looking for the
easiest option to hopefully encourage others to have a go with.

Online toolkits, or use the toolkits in 2.16 on windows: create a
template project, which does much the same thing. There are a number of
advantages to getting a toolkits server setup though.

No, I don't do coding. Should I use this or online toolkits?

2.15 is the current one. 2.6 was old (15 > 6)
Depends on your skills: do you code?

Hello there,
I am currently looking at Xerte with a view to using it in our
University. Having gone to the Xerte page, there is a download for
v2.15 but there is an RSS feed to say that V2.6 has been released, how
do I download that? Or should I go straight for 3.0 beta at this stage?
Regards,
Kerrie.
