Dear Nigel,
Played around with minimum and maximum framerate in format factory -
still doesn't work. I guess I could try inserting loads of repeat frames
in to the swf file or something to slow it down even further? Have
attached the htm and javascript files if this makes any difference...
Am I best off trying to get a copy of captivate on an educational
licence?
Best wishes,

Hi David
I did one myself and I think it is the frame rate within settings, by
default is it set to 20 frames per second, I haven't played with that
but that should slow it down

Dear Nigel,
Thanks for trying this - I gave it a go myself and unfortunately it does
just seem to show the first frame (unless it's extremely sped up) - the
original video is supposed to take 15-20 seconds.
Many thanks,

Hi
I converted the file through Format Factory to FLV and set the size to
320, 240 (the default size for XOT) and then imported in a movie page
and it showed all the desktop, only thing I found was the speed of the
movie but maybe that was just an example you used.

Subject: [Xerte] wink swf file resizing
Hi,
I'm trying to add a screen capture video to my learning object but don't
currently have a copy of captivate. I can't use jing either because I
need to be able to edit the video. I've found a free tool, wink, that I
can use, but when I try to add a captivate movie made using wink in XOT
(or in the standalone version of xerte), it seems to resize the video
and zooms in on a small part of the screen. The resolution of the video
is 685x514. I've tried to render the video in lots of different sizes
but this doesn't seem to make a difference. When I open it as a page
wizard in xerte, there doesn't seem to be any code to resize the video
that I can fiddle with. Am I best off just getting a copy of captivate?
Many thanks for your help,
