Because those debug statements are getting thrown during setup - I'll weed them out...

Julian,
I figured out that the problem basically is the form. The form is already showing, when I disable the debug function. I tried to add a function to the engine to show and hide the form, but that does not seem to work....
i.e. Nothing is shown in the debug windows (which is good), but the form is still showing....
//DEBUGGER /////////////////////////////////////////////////
engine.winDebug = "false";
engine.showDebug = "true";
var dbgID = mdm.Forms.MainForm.callFunction
var debug_lc = new LocalConnection();
function debug(msg){
if (engine.showDebug == 'true') {
if (engine.winDebug != 'true'){
engine.winDebug = 'true';
mdm.Forms.debugger.show();
}
var msg = String(msg);
debug_lc.send("_debug_", "debug", msg);
}
}
function hideDebug(flag) {
if (engine.showDebug != flag) {
if (flag == 'true') {
if (engine.winDebug == 'true'){
engine.winDebug = 'false';
}
mdm.Forms.debugger.hide();
mdm.Forms.debugger.visible = false;
engine.showDebug = 'false';
}
else{
engine.showDebug = 'true';
mdm.Forms.debugger.visible = true;
mdm.Forms.debugger.show();
}
}
}

Try that.

Hmmm,
I can't get this working. I tried to add a function hideDebug to the engine, but I can't get that to work either....

Thank you, I'll give that a whirl...

You could add a line of code to the rlt early on to delete the debug function? You could even have a property on the wizard form then to turn debugging on or off:
If (templateData.learningObject[0].debug != 'true'){
delete level0.engine.debug;
}
