Put the php in the same folder  as XMLEngine.swf. That’s the swf that is running.

Dear Julian,

The SWF file with PHP script works seperately on the server. But as soon as I embed it into Xerte Learning Object using file - Import media - (putting swf file with php script and txt file to write in the /media directory) it doesn't work embedded. it displays OK but when buttons pressed nothing really happens.
hmmm... I just thought maybe xerte object doesn't have right permissions to run php script. I will check it... and if it won't work... I will publish here links for my learning object... so maybe someone will be able to spot what is wrong.

Dear all,
I am just wondering when embedding SWF animation into Xerte learning
object using Xerte desktop application. How much Xerte actually
allows it to make? I am having SWF interactive animation - Guestbook
on flash - which uses just one php script and saves all replies in
one txt file... But I wasn't able to make it working in Xerte so
far... is it possible?

I've replaced the file on the toolkits server this morning and it has fixed the problem immediately. As I didn't really understand Dave's explanation below this is a good thing. :)

Spot on.

Replace list.rlm in /models with the attached file.

You can also update the file on your server, if you're using toolkits: modules/xerte/parent_templates/Nottingham/models

Looks like the text object width is locked?
i.e. the sixth line is wrapping with no _ytile to compensate.

I'm trying to sort out a couple of problems for some colleagues. One of them has an odd problem (screenprint attached) where the text is overlapping itself on part of the statement. We've tried shortening the statement significantly to no effect. Any thoughts?
