I normally recommend using print2flash - free for smaller files from www.print2flash.com. Thos turns pdfs, powerpoints, etc into flashpaper files which can then be embedded using the standard template for this.
Or am I missing the point complety? Sorry if this is the case!

Would that work for PPTs, Word docs, avi, WMV etc as well? Or am I in danger of asking a daft question... J
And if it does, I think I'm right in saying that the link wouldn't be keyboard accessible (you couldn't tab to it) or perceivable to a screenreader user.

Hello,
Create a project
Highlight the project and select properties
On the popup window click "media and quota"
Use the upload button to upload the pdf
Close the pop up down
Edit the project
On a text page add in
<a target="_blank" href="media/NAME OF PDF">text for link</a>
That should work

Subject: [Xerte] Including a PDF document in a Xerte package
Hi Patrick,
I don't see with which kind of activity or how I can include a link to a PDF document and this link not to be an internet link but a link to the PDF inside the package created with Xerte.
The thing is that we are creating SCORMs which we want to work in "stand-alone" mode (I don't know if this is the right way to say it...) and don't need of any document or resource outside of the package....
I'm sorry I didn't read your previous answer since I wasn't correctly subscribed to the list.
Thank you very much!
