Type ‘visuals’ into the drop
down list, and press ‘add’.

Last
Question (potentially J). If I got a bit click happy and deleted the Visuals
variable from my interface; how would I get it back? It isn’t available in the
drop down list.

The
last parameter is end drag or not: so if you want the item to still be
draggable set it to 0, otherwise 1 will kill it’s draggability, and the user
won’t be able to move it anymore,

icon~action~endDrag –
you’ve put ‘1’ in the endDrag spot. There’s no explanation of that in the
dragItems help file, but I did see that in the Getting Strated -> Target
Areas section of help, the endDrag there is also replaced with 1. Can you tell
me what that is?
Currently it’s doing roughly
what I want it to J Thanks for your help

It’s
more powerful : you can do whatever you want with it. In toolkits there isn’t
currently a draggable image interaction.
Yes you can: make a simple example and work up to what you need.
Set
up this structure
GRAPHIC
INTERACTION
TARGET AREA
SCRIPT
Load
your draggable graphic into the graphic icon, give it an id ‘myDragItem’
Set
the properties for the target are’as position and dimensions (select the icon,
press SHIFT-F5, place it where you want it)
Set
the dragItesm property of the target area to
myDragItem~snap~1
Thenread
the help for an explanation fo the options in the dragItems property.
Then
you can add further items to the dragItems, separating them with commas,

I’m
currently using Xerte, version 2.11 if that makes any difference.

this using Xerte Online Toolkits, or Xerte itself?

Hi,
I’m brand new to Xerte, so this
could be a very stupid question. J
I want to make an interaction
which involves dragging and dropping images into a target area.
Is that possible?
