Argh I just found that code, but I tried it and had no joy

I wrote the attached which works, but it does something funny to the page number display.

Your first page in Xerte LO is page 0 then every page from there is numbered in order e.g. the link above would take me to the second page on my Xerte LO, try it just copy and paste that code into a text area on the first "slide" within a two page Xerte LO
