[Xerte] Xerte3 example

I didn't know that there was a Xerte v3 out. Where does the latest
stable version of Xerte desktop and Toolkits sit - on the Xerte website
on the Nottingham server, or on the Google code page, or elsewhere? The
latest version on the Nottingham page is 2.9.
A subsidiary question: is the desktop tool still being developed and/or
supported? The emphasis on the Nottingham site appears to be mostly on
Toolkits. This could be a subjective impression, but I'm sure that there
used to be a shedload of Xerte desktop examples on the site and these
look to have gone.
My apologies if this has already been asked or announced, but traffic is
so high on this list that I sometimes lose announcements amongst the
'support calls' :(
Cheers
