OK it looks like the url, remotely I use http://10.0.0.225/xertetoolkis
where locally it was using http://localhost/xertetoolkits the site url
is set to 10.0.0.225/xertetoolkits. Changed the local url and all is
fine now. Thanks

Not in the error - it's looking for
file_get_contents(USER-FILES/11--Nottingham/data.xml) so the username
isn't getting put in.
I don't know why that is. Pat's away on holiday this week,

Something to do with logging onto the local machine then, he said
helpfully...
The username is missing from the url you're trying to access. It should
be in the form 11-username-Nottingham. You just get two '-' together.
What is the actual folder called ?

OK Sorry had put in a screenshot of the error, the error message is:
Warning: file_get_contents(USER-FILES/11--Nottingham/data.xml)
[function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or
directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\xertetoolkits\edit.php on line 231
I have noticed it only happens if I logged onto the local machine, If I
access remotely then everything is fine.

Not the engine, no. Zinc throws a few.

But come to think of it, I've never had Xerte itself throw an error
message.
Does it have any internal handling?
