I believe a few Xerte worthies have the last Friday in March pencilled
in as a 'national install Xerte (in earnest)' day so that those who have
been playing round the edges might have a deadline where they decide to
properly try to install it and there will be people on the day watching
the list ready to give advice. We've reserved the regular monthly JISC
TechDis XerteFriday slot to provide some online support if required. 

 

Julian. Pat, Ron - is that something we can move from tentative to
definite?

Hi all

 

Attended an interesting RSC SW event yesterday and having decided we
want to push the use of Xerte learning objects to colleagues I need to
do some work on our installation over the next month or so.

 

We currently have XOT running on IIS but only with the default manual
authentication. What are the steps involved with linking this in with
Active Directory? Can I modify the existing installation or do I have to
start the setup again?

 

Any suggestions much appreciated so I can then go to the wizards in CS.
