[Xerte] Generating pop up windows and alert messages from Xerte

Hello Paul,
Thanks for the suggestion.
The original reason for wanting a pop up window was to create additional
space.
The main application will be a trouble-shooting, expert-system type of
thing with each page providing a question and some details and a number
of possible answers. Each answer will take you to an appropriate next
page.
Sometimes one page will not be big enough to hold all the data I would
like to make available to help the user resolve the question. Hence the
thought about using a pop up window.
I may have found an alternative solution to my problem. I am at present
developing a page wizard based on the tab navigation but combining
features of the multiple choice question. This will allow me to use the
multiple choice question single answer option to provide users with a
selection of destinations. Meanwhile I can have multiple tabs per page
so that I can provide information, display a graphic, provide a video,
and then offer routing options on the final tab.
That is if I can get it fully working.
If I can crack it I will release it as an additional page wizard in due
course.
Kind regards
Johnathan

iconID.drawPanel(x, y, w, h, colour, title, draggable);
That creates a flex-style panel in which you can display text. I'm not
sure about graphics, but I think that is possible. I've attached an
example .rlo to give you an idea ...
