If you compile a library, then you can use embedded fonts, and can also include images and swfs in the library. You put the resourses you want to use in a folder, and then choose that folder when you compile library. A resources.swf is created for you, and loaded up when you run the piece, allowing you access to the fonts in the swf, AND to be able to add any graphics through attachMovie, rather than load movie. If you have icons you use frequently, this can be a good idea.
