Hi Pavithra, 

 

There isn't a property for this at the moment I'm afraid, but here is
how you can get around it;

 

Add a third page and set it's synchPoint to 1 or 2 seconds before your
audio ends

Right click the third page and add a script icon to it

Make sure your sound icon has an ID (in the example I have used
soundIconID)

In the script icon type the following;

 

//Pause the audio before it ends and therefore retain the text on
screen...

soundIconID.pause();

 

This should work fine as long as you have a second of silence at the end
of your audio file. If you don't, you can add it using something like
Adobe Soundbooth...

Thanks a lot Paul. That was great...

 

But, after the sound is played, the corresponding text inserted within
the sound vanishes from the screen.

In our project, I want to retain the text till the user clicks the next
page control.

Is there any property to be set for that?

Hi Pavithra, 

 

You need to do the following.....

 

Create a  sound icon (and add your sound), right click on this sound
icon and add two new page icons. 

On the second new page icon, add a synchPoint from the properties menu
at the top.

Set the value to seconds x 1000 (so 1 second =  1000, 2 seconds = 2000
etc)

Then right click on the new page icon and add a text icon for your text.


 

When adding a synchPoint to a page, the contents of the page will be
displayed after X number of seconds in relation to your sound file.

Thanks for your continued support. 

 

I like to know how to insert a waiting period between two icons.

For instance

*	Text icon - text1 is displayed
*	In synchronizing with the voice over, the second text icon
should be loaded only after 15-20 seconds.

 

Is there a possibility to delay the loading of a particular icon?
