[Xerte] sub/super script?

The flow structure militates against making it perpetual.
I hung a timer set to 0 to the right of the TE with the script icon underneath.
Seems to work. Or am I cruising for a bruising?

I usually make the interaction perpetual and stick any script that does this sort of thing underneath, frequently you want to set background / border etc with the text entry box, and you can only do that once it's been created,

I should clarify that.
I have the Selection.setFocus(my_rs_value);
part.
Now where's the best place to hang it?
