[Xerte] debug(), focus

Ok, problem found, and very abstruse it is. I had debug() in a script
icon inside a textentry icon inside an interaction. What I didn't
realise until now is that the textentry icon has the property 'phrase'
with the default text 'match this', so if there's on match it doesn't
move on. So I cleared the 'phrase' property and the flow reached the
script icon and debug() worked. 

Essentially, you have to know the tool in intricate detail in order to
use it properly as a coding tool, so I'd have spotted this if I'd worked
intensively with Xerte. That's what happens when you just come to it now
and again.
