[Xerte] Username Field Too Short

Until this problem arose yesterday I thought that all our usernames were
an 8 character ID number, but it seems there is at least one exception!

I fixed it ages ago, then I seemed to have unfixed it - all Nottingham
usernames are short you see.

 

It's on the list for the next bug fix.

Hello, 

 

I just modified the username field in Xerte after one of our users could
not log in as his username was over the maximum permitted length.

Strangely the max length was shorter than the display width of the
field, I am not sure if there was a reason for doing this?

If not, perhaps the distributed version of Xerte could be updated with
this change?
