[Xerte] Page display issues: 179

We use a modified version of the XMLEngine, but the only things changed were text positions and border heights. I don't know anything about custom interfaces (but that's probably something I should have looked at).
To test I created a project from a template with 186 plain text pages, published it to HTML, and then swapped around the engine files.
* The original XMLEngine that came with 2.5.4 could not view page 179
* Our modified XMLEngine could also not view page 179
* The new XMLEngine from the svn repository could view the page normally.
A few points to note:
* In the contents window, the page is always listed as: 178, undefined
* When you jump to the page from the contents window, the page title remains as the last page visited
* If you open the table of contents window after passing the 179 mark, then it is drawn underneath the page's contents.
I'm not sure which version of the files the online toolkit uses currently, but the version I downloaded also has the faulty XMLEngine.
Whatever the problem was it seems to be fixed now, so just something to be aware of.
It was the demo of Xerte 3 that I found particularly interesting.
Cheers,
Matthew

Are you using the standards interface, or is there a custom one involved?
I cannot make page 179 fail ina simple piece with 190 odd pages - I've tried a number of different types of page for the 179th one.
Does this also fail for you? i.e. forget your big project, just make a simple piece with 180 pages - does the 179th one still fail?
I need to know whether this is something you are doing or something our code is doing.

...so I made a sample piece with 190 title pages, and I don't see a blank one on page 179...?

I'd like to know why it fails - there is nothing obvious in the code. I need to make a 180 page sample project and test...

Hello Matthew,
We had the same problem and what we did was to replicate page 179 in 180 and jump from 178 to 180 avoiding 179.
Spanish style, pure engineering advanced technique ;-).
The thread you are looking from is ours.
Sorry can't give you a better solution/answer.
Marc.

Hello all,
We're having problems with large Xerte files, where page 179 does not display correctly - it's just blank. I don't think that it has anything to do with a corrupt page, since no matter how much pages are shuffled around, it is always 179 (in the wizard at least). Nothing seems out of place in the XML.
I'm using the desktop version 2.5.4.
I thought I remembered a discussion on this, but couldn't find the thread. Is this known, and was it solved in a later version? Is there a way that I can just grab the latest XMLEngine.swf to test it?
Cheers,
Matthew
