[Xerte] Xerte (minor) issues

I've managed a workaround for the problem which involves going to the
'customisation' pages in Goggle Maps via the 'Link' hyperlink and then
pasting the URL for the http:// option from the embedding code and selecting
the check box 'Link to Map'. I'm quoting from memory on this as far as the
names of the links are concerned. The 'src=' link doesn't work, neither does
the full 'embed' code.
At recent training sessions which I've run across the eastern region in the
UK, and which have proved very popular, it has been suggested that the next
version of Xerte OnLine toolkits could contain a generic 'embed' page as this
is becoming increasingly popular. Customisation for different embedded
applications could be handled by a drop down list, but at least the interface
would be less confusing for non-technical users.
Kindest Regards,
Thomas

Yes, Wikipedia, RSS, YouTube and Flick pages work fine. We are having the
problem only with Google Maps pages.
I'll try the advice for the media quota template file.
Thanks
Costas

Same error as last time - it's the paths. I thought I had this fixed - could
you download a new version and swap media_and_quota_template.php for the new
one.
Does the Wikipedia page work? Flickr? RSS?

1. The status bar isn't visible. When clicked on "Media and quota" tab the

Busy day today
1. I think this is the path error we came across a while back - do you use
firebug? Could you let me know what he JS error is, or could you hover over
the x and see what the status bar says the JS function is? Thanks
2. No. Good Point. But I would expect the sharer would tell the person.
Maybe a version 1.5 function.
3. What does it do in not working?
Thanks
Pat

Hello Xerte community,
We have a few issues with Xerte online toolkit and some of its components. So
we seek for your help and advice.
1. How can you delete a not used media of a Xerte resource? When
viewing the project properties, the X that is supposed to delete the "not
used media" doesn't seem to do anything.
2. Is it possible to know what access rights a user has to a project
that is shared to him/her? It would be really helpful to know if you have
read-only or full access rights to a shared Xerte resource. Because if you
have only read-only rights, then you could lose any changes you might have
attempted to make.
3. Finally, we haven't been able to make the Google maps component
work. Is there a way to make this work?
We are using Xerte online toolkits v1.0.2.
Regards
Costas
