If you don't need LDAP, then everything will work ok, the only problem
would be password play on the access options tab on properties, which
uses LDAP to authenticate.
So just don't turn password play on.

Thanks. We'll just have a small number of users initially - 6 approx
I can manually register them on DB control panel
No need to integrate with anything (for the moment - anyway)
So can I safely ignore LDAP?

The system, on a large scale, works best with LDAP.
If you have something else that can provide integration, you can use
integration.txt as the basis of avoiding LDAP.
