[Xerte] New to Xerte

Greetings All,

I only just heard of Xerte today.   Downloaded and installed because it
looks promising.
However, before I get too involved, I must know, how do the math folks deal
with the symbols?   Without this, I MUST use other tools.
I can tell that that is not a ready feature of Xerte.   Is something in the
works?   Is there an add-on of sorts that can be used?
