OK, but here's where I may be missing something.
In standalone, I create a 1 page component and load a swf:
url="FileLocation + 'numbers.swf'"
Make it a model.
In XOT, insert <Xerte content>, browse to .rlm, upload.
Goes into media folder by default.
Media and quota, choose associated .swf, upload.
Goes into media folder by default.
Play project, no swf.
Upload swf to project root folder, swf appears.
So loaded component must take on project root as FileLocation?

No, as long as you have the swf mimetype in the allowed mimetypes in the sitedetails table you can upload whatever you want, using either the media and quota tab on the properties panel for that item.

Hi all,
Just wondering if this is the way it works or if I'm missing something.
- In standalone Xerte, create a 1 page with component attached.
- Link swf to that component.
- Save page as model
- In XOT, Insert > Media > Xerte Content.
- That uploads .rlm to media folder.
- swf has to be uploaded separately via some ftp program, right?
