Linking to page title would be better.
Is this something you are working on?
Thanks
Niall

I could make it so it searches for a page name?

Thanks. How do you know the page number, e.g. Does 'pageLink, 1' go to
first page (it goes to second page in my example!)
Page number will change if you insert or reorder pages. So must be node
reference or similar.
Thanks
Niall

You can link to another top level page in the same piece:
<a href="asfunction:_level0.pageLink, 1">Click Me</a>
This works in templates / toolkits as well. I'd urge some caution in
toolkits though, as the user may be confused between what is happening
through the links you provide, and the main navigation controls, and
might not be sure what happened when they clicked the link.

Thanks. I could add a HREF to the text but the individual pages don't
have their own URLs (or at least not visibly in the editor) so that
would not help
It does not seem possible to edit the hotspot link (at least not through
the visual interface)
Thanks
Niall

Hello,
The URL you go to, is a link to that page itself. So a HREF might work.
>From recollection "show me", shows you directly, and "click explore"
allows you to go round the image seeing what bits are.

Thanks. But that does not allow me to move the hotspot (just goes
directly to selected page)
Also what is difference between 'Show Me' and 'Click Explore'? I can't
see any
Thanks
Niall

No I think that's desktop only.
If you've got the web version, when you click play, hold down shift.

Thanks, Paul
That works with 'desktop' Xerte but I don't see how to apply it using
the Online Toolkit.
The hotspot can only be positioned using the Image Inspector which opens
a frame on the same page (or am I missing something?)
Thanks

You can fake it with a hot spot interaction ... see attached.
When aligning the hot spot with your text, select the hotspot icon, then
use Ctrl+Shift+F5 - this will allow you to move and size the hotspot
over your text.

Can we create internal hyperlinks between pages within a Xerte project?
If so, how?
Thanks
