[Xerte] transparancy

I've used PNG images with alpha transparency without problems.
Transparent GIFs might also work, but I don't think I've tried GIFs. I'm
not sure if there is an ActionScript method to set a particular color to
be transparent, at least, as far as I can tell.

Hi Mark,
No, sorry, I was not clear. Nice to keep that one in mind
though.
I want transparency like in Authorware: all white = background.
Even 'matted' would help: to get rid of the boundaries.

Does anyone know how to get transparent images
in Xerte?
TIA
