That also changed, as we decided it is far better to base a course on a template and add the occasional bit of besoke content to it, than create a bespoke course and populate a small part of it with templated content.

 

Create your project using the pageTemplates.xtp. A lot of what you want to will probably be in there, and it includes a quiz. Where there are custom things you want to do, create custom Xerte or Flash content and add it to the project. You can customise the .rlt file if you don’t like the way it is right now.

Thank you for your reply but it isn't what exactly i want to do. My aim is to create a course where i would like to insert into the simple  quiz template. Is there any way to import this template in my .rlo file??

Hi,

 

The templates menu was dropped because the templates manager we built didn’t work very well, and the functionality changed a little bit. You can start a new template project by double clicking in the pageTemplates.xtp file in the [xerte]\wizards folder.

Hello, 

I am really confused using Xerte. More specifically I would like to install a template package. But i can't as there is no templates menu. What do i have to do in order to appear this menu.
I have read the manuals but again i can't.

I am using  xerte 2.0. Could you help me??
