Ah, yes, on the other hand, if it's a Windows (IIS) server, you need to
add the .rlo file type to the server's MIME types, as well as any other
file types in your content that the server might not know how to serve.
The Xerte types are:
.rlo
.rlt
.rlm
.xml
.xwd
They are all actually XML files, and so they should all be set up as
plain text. Your tech guys will know how to do this.

What type of server is it? If it is a Linux / Unix based server the
files are case sensitive in terms of file name so if the system is
looking for XMLEngine.swf and you have the file called XMLengine.swf
(for example) that is a different file in Linux / Unix terms and so it
won't be found.
Try using a reverse proxy such as charles http://www.charlesproxy.com/
as this will show you what is happening and you can see if files are not
found etc.

I created a lovely resource for staff development and put it on our
server. It hangs as it's loading - just sits there forever. I've had our
technical people look at it and they think it's looking for a file
somewhere else. However, it works perfectly on Moodle and on the shared
drive. Any ideas, please?
Thanks
Patti
