[Xerte] Using swf sound files and problem with drag and drop

Thanks, Pat. That is helpful to know.

Does that mean there is no way to play that swf sound? Or that I could do this if I knew
actioncript and eliminated the container and played it directly?

The file size difference between the mp3 and swf audio is truly amazing. I have one mp3 of
22,668,200 bytes that becomes 4,268,606 bytes when converted. Since this is just for voice,
any quality loss is inaudible, at least to my aging ears. So being able to load and play these
would be good.

As it is, with the huge hard drives of today, it is not such an issue although I think I am
limited in how much I can upload to my WebCT account. On the WebCT forum, I was told
that WebCT is not meant for audio streaming! And years ago a 20 dollar program (Wicked
Streaming Program) handled progressive download easily! With Xerte and SCORM, I can
overcome WebCT's limitation, I think.
